Discover the factory of the future

Ebflow Light is a superior and completely revolutionary laser beam welding technology, combining local vacuum with deep penetration laser welding.

Ebflow Light combines the benefits of laser welding in a vacuum, including deep penetration welding and exceptional quality, with CVE’s patented local vacuum systems. This enables large fabrications to be welded on site, with a thickness of up to 60mm achievable in a single pass.

What is Ebflow Light?

Weld speeds of up to 30 times faster than arc welding processes are achievable, with beam power of 6kW and weld depths of up to 60mm in a single pass; a fast, flexible welding solution for large fabrications.

Ebflow Light brings the benefits of laser welding in a vacuum together with CVE’s patented local vacuum systems, so large fabrications can be welded on site rather than moved into a full vacuum chamber.

With a beam power of 6kW, Ebflow Light achieves weld depths of up to 60mm in a single pass, at speeds of up to 30 times faster than arc welding processes.

Operating in a vacuum range of 10-1 to 10-2 mbar, the process delivers deeper penetration for a given power, better weld quality with low porosity and spatter, and reduced consumption of expensive process gas.

Because the local vacuum is self-contained, Ebflow Light needs no dedicated laser safety cell and has less demanding vacuum conditions than electron beam welding, while remaining immune to magnetism issues.
